The Øresund Bridge between Denmark and Sweden

Øresund Bridge/The Øresund  is 16 km long and links Denmark (Copenhagen) and Sweden (Malmö). The Øresund consists of an 8km long bridge which transitions via the artificial island Peberholmen (constructed from material dredged from the seabed) into a 4km long tunnel below the Flint Channel. Before The Øresund opened in July 2000, ferries transported people between the two countries.

  1. I have been across the bridge. When we visited our friends in Malmo in 2018 we flew from Paris to Copenhagen, and then caught the train across to Sweden.
They are coming to visit us in July.
