Bye bye to my Michael Connelly pile

I am still reading my way through Michael Connelly’s bibliography. On the left is all the books I have read, and on the right is my to-be-read pile.

Yesterday I said goodbye to all the books on the left.  A friend is on the same mission as I am, and has taken them off my hands. Once they are finished, they will donate them to the thrift store, and they can go on to new homes.

I am going to try and read all of Connelly’s works, and then move on to the suggestions from my lovely readers. The long dark Swedish winter really lends itself to cosy reading binges.

I have bought only two of these books new. The rest came from thrift stores and a wonderful secondhand book site in Sweden. Almost all of the books have been in new or nearly-new condition. Angel’s flight was the only one that looked a little worn.

  1. That’s fantastic! I started reading Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer and now I need to get every single book he wrote!…

      1. That’s incredible! I’m sure she must have told you plenty of interesting stories. But what a harrowing event that was… I watched the movie from 2015 twice and then realized that the story had been told in a book and that it had actually happened and I was completely hooked…

      2. Wow!… It’s definitely not a walk in the park… I never realized just how strenuous it was… Kudos to her for doing all she did. I saw she had written a book that also recounts the experience. Jon Krakauer had spoken about the South African team but not as much as Rob Hall’s team. I have put her book in my to read list and I’m looking forward to reading her accounts as well.
