Some months ago, Dean found this sick and dying dog by the roadside in Serbia, and saved him.
Dean organised medical care for the pup (now named Charlie), and once he was given a clean bill of health he was adopted by a family in Sweden who share his new life on Instagram. I am not a big Instagram user but I slavishly watch for Rex and Charlie updates. I am not a very tearful person, but I get a lump in my throat and tears in my life to read Rex’s updates and watch Charlie’s new life, as narrated by Rex. No matter how bad my day, these updates cheer me up, make me smile, and make my eyes tear up.
