Nowadays I am very reluctant to share mind-blowing images in case they are digitally created and I don’t realise it.
I love digital artwork, particularly when it is very ‘out there’, but I would never want to share something as a genuine photograph when it isn’t. Personally, I have great admiration for the minds that create digital artwork, because you must learn a lot about yourself and have to work hard at the prompts required to pull the exact image out of your mind and onto the screen.
I know these stunning photographs are real though, because they are the winners of the 2023 Colour Photography Contest, by Refocus Awards. Find them all (and loads more) here.
