Janet, I love these quotes a lot. Especially the second one, it is so true that you never appreciate what you have until you can appreciate the beauty surrounding yourself. A rose is beautiful in spite of the thorns but if that is all you see you won’t appreciate the beauty. A weed is anything you aren’t growing so in a field of cultivated dandelions a rose is a weed. I always look for the good in every situation and try to leave people with at least a smile because they will remember how I made them feel for a long time.
