Wow 12 French words, no less! And some don’the even have Latin origins… That tells a lot about the ability of the English language to borrow foreign words!
A lot of French words in there. I understand they are in an English dictionary. But can they be considered as English word? Ingénue, Dénouement, Lassitude, Désuétude, Ratatouille.

English steals words from everywhere and pretends they are English. We are awful that way!
I love how most of these words have got Latin roots. Beautiful words. The most beautiful one is probably the first one 😉 but I may be biased!…
