It is noticeably darker but not dry. Then again, it was pretty well moisturised beforehand from my hands and 14 months of use.

In the factory they keep the undyed covered up as much as possible so that when the customer receives their new binder it is as unexposed as possible…. Think photographic paper!

You mentioning the ” VDS SHOP ” opened up a new world to me… I am just now grasping amount of Leather Notebooks, Binders, Journals, Systems, and Followers out there. So many Shops, So many Binders, So little Time !!!!
