I worked on translating the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s website to English over the summer and it finally went live yesterday. Quite a big job – see the results here.
I love doing this type of work but I hate looking at it afterwards, because – inevitably – I find something I should have phrased another way, or (even worse!!!!) typos.
It is like when you write something, read it, edit it, reread it, edit again, proofread it, give it to someone else to proofread, and check it again. As soon as you click send (if it is in an email) or look at your copy (if it is in paper format)….Voila! There’s an error staring you right in the face!
