Paragraphs are a bit difficult to do properly if you don’t have the natural ability to sense when it is time to start a new one. The above graphic is excellent. Other tips are:
- don’t make them too long. Big bodies of text are very hard to read.
- don’t start a paragraph with a number – either in digit form or spelled out
- don’t start a paragraph with and or but UNLESS you have total control of it and both the message and sentence are extremely powerful.
