Nowadays book clasps are pretty straightforward but historically some of them were beautifully ornate.
Bookbinding is such a wonderful art. Even in today’s digital world, places like Etsy show us that there are still many wonderful book artists out there. Two of my favorites are Jonathan Vanderholm of Artifice Books and Alex Solaris of AlexLibris.
