My favourite Traveler’s Notebooks

I just cannot express how much I love these notebooks from Strawberry Notebook on Etsy. I think the wood and flooring ones are limited edition so I am really lucky I managed to snag them. I have had them for a few months now and I am still utterly in love and absolutely thrilled with them. I get all giddy every time I see them because I know how lucky I am to have been able to get hold of them.

I absolutely love the leather and the workmanship. It was all done by hand so it must have taken forever. The surface feels wonderful and does not mark at all, no matter how much it is used. The leather is thick and you can see how good the quality is from both the inside and outside.

Look at the workmanship on this!

You can see how thick the leather is and how well six A5 notebooks fit.
Field notes size and the same wonderful leather and workmanship

You can see range marks in the leather here but they just add to the beauty of this cover.

You can see some small scuffs here after three months but you cannot notice them except in close-up, like here.

This must have taken ages and ages to do by hand.
Look at that workmanship!

The one below is not from the wood/flooring series but it is beautiful nonetheless. It is thick and soft but not as heavy and stiff as the ones above. It feels velvety smooth and is way more flexible. It is a slightly wider standard size with four elastics and I have photographed it in two different lights below so you can get a general idea of the colour and texture.

  1. Beautiful work, Janet. This skilled crafter doesn’t appear to be doing business these days, as there is just a single charm for sale in her shop. What a pity…I would have liked to have seen more of her work.

    1. I am going to forward her the link and will refer her to your comment so she knows you are interested. She really is wonderful to deal with.
