Gendered toilet door symbols

Although Sweden is moving more towards gender-neutral toilets, it is always fun to see different symbols for male/female toilets. Some of them are quite innovative. I like these ones

But…imagine you are in another country or you are not cool, not hip, don’t understand the icons, the culture or the secret social signals, are *dying* to go to the toilet, and faced with these:

  1. Luckily we don’t have gender neutral toilets in France or extremely few. I hate public toilets and avoid using the ones in restaurants, shopping malls or hospitals. But of course the ladies and gents never share the same place!

  2. That is why gender neutral toilets (like the ones in France) would seem to be the way to go. But the French put their porn mags on a very low shelf with kids comics on the top shelf (I never did understand that other than the porn mags were sold in sealed bags so nothing was visible to a child except the name in French).
