I guess one part of getting through tough situations is through humour. But this is also very very true. We are told to save the planet by using paper straws, not travelling, not consuming as much, recycling etc etc. But how much difference can we make if the huge companies are the ones with the largest carbon footprints? When billionaires fly in private jets (1000 private jets flew in for the Superbowl, 500 of which took off just after the game), and unstable men treat the world like their own private Monopoly boards?
On February 24, it was four years since Russia invaded Ukraine. There is no end in sight. On February 28 this year, US-Israeli forces attacked Iran. Unlike hundreds of years ago when princes and kings led their troops into battle, nowadays politicians send others’ sons to die. It makes my heart so sore. What kind of world are we living in?
