This was from Sarah Pearce’s The Retreat. It was published in 2022, and one of the main characters is a social media influencer. The mention of a Filofax seemed to come out of left field, though it could be a plot mechanism to move the narrative forward. This planner is only mentioned twice, though if it were a plot device the information could well have been found on a mobile phone. I was wondering if the author uses a ring planner herself I am not sure they are generically called Filofaxes so much anymore, more planners.
This series of books (The Sanatorium, The Retreat, The Wilds) are the best books I have read in a long, long time.
I’ve enjoyed her novels too. I think she’s locally based to me
