I normally use white lined notepaper for my to-do lists. My lists are always very plain – shopping lists, wish lists, lesson planning notes, notes about blog posts, keeping a tally of hours for students who have a set number of hours.
For South Africa I am going to be using the ones above and below, which are from 1995. I found them when going through inserts recently and they are rather nice. Filofax did some great inserts back in the day.
These will be grouped into Before SA, During SA, After SA, and Gifts. I buy gifts for my family as I find them rather than just before we leave. This means I need to remember what they are, to pack them, and also to gift them.
