Mulberry Oak Darwin Tooled Bayswater

I have been downsizing my bag collection for a couple of years. The first part (as with all decluttering) was easy, but the ones I have left are becoming harder and harder to part with. I generally use them for two or three days to see if the love is still there. If not, they go on to new homes where they will be used and loved.

I no longer use big, heavy bags, but I still love this one to bits. It is 19 years old now and I think it looks gorgeous…rather battered and covered in temporary rain spots in this photo, but I love it all the more because all the stains and dings are memories. Even though it is too heavy for me to carry these days, I don’t think I will be able to let it go.

And, apropos nothing, I saw these interesting things on my way to a meeting yesterday.
