Icelandic pedestrian crossings

Ísafjörður, Iceland, has redesigned the traditional pedestrian crossing so that it looks three-dimensional. This means that motorists instinctively reduce their speed.
Icelandic environmental commissioner Ralf Trylla was inspired by a similar project in New Dehli, India.
