The beautiful ageing process of undyed leather

A while back when I was wandering around local lifestyle store, Grandpa, I found their gorgeous undyed leather series called Low Key Goods. They had traveler’s notebook covers in A5 and A6, (with refills available for purchase), bags, card wallets, key holders, glasses cases, laptop cases, and more.

The simple, minimalistic items were made of the most gorgeous soft, firm, light leather which I knew would age like a dream. This week I found I was right when Grandpa posted this picture of the ageing process. Aren’t they glorious? I know the fact that undyed leather marks, scratches, scuffs, and stains so easily is a deterrent for many people, but I love that these items reflect a well-lived life, as we humans do. There is nothing wrong with ageing.
