My planner is going to be really busy soon!

Switched back into my Louis Vuitton MM Agenda

The next few months are going to be so hectic. I am going to have to rely on my ring organiser more than ever. I did consider having separate dedicated notebooks in a traveler’s notebook cover for each category, but I think having it all in one will reduce the likelihood of me missing something.

  • Next weekend my husband is celebrating his birthday so – ages ago – we booked a trip to Dublin. I lived in Dublin while I did my teacher training and I love the city. I have to put our to do lists, shopping lists, flight details etc in my planner. I work right up until we leave so I have to have my timing right.
  • In addition, I have eleven big English groups starting simultaneously in two weeks’ time. They will take up three full days of my week and for me, multiple groups are very challenging during the first weeks. I have to learn the venues, remember student names, do needs analyses, get my timings just right because some run back to back, while others have 15 minute breaks between the lessons. Some are 90 minutes, some run 60 minutes. The language levels are different. So I have to adapt my material. At the same time, I continue with my 30 individual students a week, and these have to be planned around the immovable groups. It’s like a big puzzle.
  • We are also moving, and that is going to be the biggest challenge of all. At the moment we are living in apartment 1, renovating apartment 2 (which has a tenant), and moving into apartment 3. This means arranging movers, deep cleaning in two apartments, painting, styling, photographing, listing, viewings, bids, contracts, trips to IKEA for new furniture, recycling, donating, buying supplies for renovations, changing addresses and insurances, cancelling and moving utilities, dealing with banks, realtors, the tenant, the seller of our new apartment. My apartment is quite far away from the other two, so much to-ing and fro-ing will be done. It will involve coordination to the nth degree with so much potential for chaos.

I am not sure how I am going to manage without exploding at some point over the next 2.5 months. If anyone would like an ongoing commentary of the process in my planner, let me know and I can do it.

  1. Hi Janet,

I would love to see all the updates on how you manage all of this! Congratulations on all this amazing wonderful activities in your life and please say Happy Birthday to your lovely new husband! I just LOVE your LV ring book – I looked for one in the LV store in both Boston and at Heathrow at Christmas – no such luck – not that I would have been able to afford one!

  2. Hi Janet, All the best in the next few busy months. I would love to be kept up to date if it is not too much trouble. Hope everything will go smoothly. ❤️🤗💥😀🐾🐾🐈🐈

  3. Completely understand the complexity; this is vey much like current job with planning around giant immovable recurring meetings. And all the various elements/people! So happy for you, with your marriage and new home and such. 🤗 Rock on!
