Planner meetup in Stockholm, June 6

Steve and I are both bad at taking selfies so he crouched and I loomed!

The last time I saw Steve was in October 2014 when we travelled to Van Der Spek together. I was thrilled when he told me that he and his wife Alison were travelling to Stockholm in June. I was dying to see Steve again and to finally meet Alison, who is one of my favourite authors.

It was Stockholm’s National Day when I met Steve up at his hotel and we walked to my favourite bookshop, Akademibokhandeln, where we met up with some other planner fans and spent a wonderful couple of hours talking about organisers. It had been cookingly hot (27 – 30°C and light 24 hours a day) a few days before Steve arrived, but true to form, when he and Alison came it was a cloudy, windy and cold 16°C!

The other members at the meetup had brought loads of binders from Filofax, Gillio, Van Der Spek, Kikki K. We even had Maria come all the way from Denmark! I am still kicking myself that I did not take any photographs of the huge, beautiful pile. Amanda B brought her gorgeous Touch Me and the Red Slimline Cuban, both of which she had brought to our previous meetup (see below). Both are still going strong. The first thing I asked was to caress her Touch Me, which feels wonderful.
