For the love of Minerva

One of my students brought his dog, Minerva, to his lesson the other day. Apparently she dislikes strangers but she took to me straight away. I am good with animals so it could have been that. It could also have been that she knew she was on my turf! She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

  1. AWW she’s gorgeous. I had a friend who had a chihuahua that hated strangers. She’d do either of 2 things – run off or attack. The first day I went to her house I saw Pebbles (or Pebs as she was affectionately known), I sat down, looked at her and simply said “Hello Pebs”. She came over, a little cautiously at first, then jumped on my lap and stayed there the whole time 🙂 I’m pretty sure that dogs can sense when someone truly loves them.
