Connectdesign ‘Watch Filofax’ refills

I have written about these before – here. I think it is a fantastic idea because I really like this ‘clock-like’ way of viewing days but it is simpler than Chronodex, for example. My whole day is made up of appointments so I tend to look at my watch all the time and this is just an extension of that.

When I first tried to get my head around Chronodexing I downloaded some large plain clockfaces without hands – I just found free downloadables used to teach children to tell time, stuck two on an A5 page (one for the first 12 hours of the day, the second for the second 12) and photocopied them. Once I got my head around that, I superimposed the two and divided that clock into two ‘lanes’. Worked perfectly and this seems very much like that idea.

I just wanted to say that I have ordered two sets of these and am very happy with them. Have not set them up in my Filofax yet but will write another post when I do. You can easily order refills which are cheap and the communication I have had with the company is very good. The watches are not the best quality and won’t last me a lifetime but for the price I never expected them to be a Patek Philippe (motto: ‘You never really own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation.)

Here is the link where you can order them

And here are two videos – the first one by Sarah Pings, who has devised her own way of using these refills – with Kent from Oz’s WONDERFUL Spiraldex

And the second by Kent from Oz about his very own Spiraldex

    1. What web browser do you use Clara? The one I get is in English and when you click to buy you just go straight to Paypal. I use Safari. I have now added step by step views and instructions to purchase to the bottom of the post – even if you can’t get to the English version, this should help a little.
