HOTD #30 – Anuschka Fairy Expandable Hobo

This is a large bag and can be expanded even more by means of a heavy duty external zip which opens a hidden fully painted panel.

This bag is lined in deep purple fabric which has the Anuschka logo on it. There is one zippered internal pocket as well as two internal leather-bound pouch pockets. This bag also comes with sunglasses and makeup case pouches and a strap for keys. There are two handles which fit over shoulder, arm and hand, and a detachable shoulder strap. The top closes with a nylon zip. On the back of the bag is a long zippered pocket and a slot pocket (very useful for travel cards) There is a large, subtly iridescent tassel on the fastener of the external zip. The Anuschka tag on the inside is plain leather – as the bag looked before painting.

The bag is made of fine-grain cowhide which is handpainted from start to finish and signed by the artist. The artwork is stunning and the shimmering iridescent shades have to be seen in real life to be believed. The front, back and expandable panel are all fully painted.

I try not to carry it in rain or snow or overfill it (as I tend to do) but it is strong and hardy for daily use. You can buy leather protector when you buy your bag. It is well designed with pockets everywhere.
