When I was growing up, there was no such thing as a fancy hair styling product. You had hairspray, Brylcreem and Suave. That was about it. So my hair used to look like I had a cat sitting on my head.
Then when hair products came, I could tame my frizz and my hair would look like this
I am never without my beloved Sebastian Potion 9. It gives me good hair every day.
Well…on our trip I climbed out of the shower on the first day and realised that I HAD FORGOTTEN MY POTION 9 AT HOME! I never ever forget my Potion 9. To make things worse, we were in the middle of the countryside (no shops) and it was raining. I literally watched my hair get bigger and frizzier in the mirror as the minutes passed. It had been decades since I had seen my hair’s behaviour without product and it was awful. I was horrified. I had to drag it back into a bun, and managed to borrow some Creightons curl products from my stepdaughter.
I have written previously about how I love Creighton’s products and these were actually good. But when I got home the first thing I did was wash my hair and apply Potion 9. Normality!
