This bag is called the Uniqlo Banana Bag, the Mini Half Moon bag, and the Uniqlo Sling bag. It is made of 100% polyester, though a previous version was made of nylon.
It is very plain and small, though I did brighten it up a bit by treating myself to embroidery. If I ever buy another of these bags in a different colour, I will definitely go the embroidery route again. It is an extra cost, but it personalises it and adds a little pop of detail.
I could not use this as my work bag, because I do need to carry more for work, and my work bag has a dedicated makeup pouch and hat/glove/scarf/snacks. But as a weekend, holiday, or travel bag this is perfect. I would have preferred a zippered pocket, or some kind of internal division, but at the low price point, you really cannot complain. The black version does pick up a lot of fluff, but that is quite normal with some black bags.

I love your bag! I’m always wondering how I can improve my set up and go from work bag to weekend bag and I think I have found a solution: I use one of these Uniqlo bags for the essentials and then a backpack for work/teaching things. But when I’m on holiday, I use a mini Kanken backpack. I have plenty of space inside in case I need to carry a small bottle of water or anything else. That bag of yours is really lovely and I think I need to seriously look into these embroideries. They are really lovely!
