I usually have a small selection of different scented candles. I tend to like floral or fruity ones because spicy and musky ones are too heavy for my nose. I finished them all in early 2023 as part of my decluttering process, and didn’t replace them.
A week or so ago I found some scented candles on sale in a local interiors shop and the one scent just captured me. I had never seen the brand – Paddywax – before, and I assumed the shop was not going to be selling them anymore.
I bought Violet and Vanilla and I love it. It gently fragrances even when not lit and is a light, alluring scent. For the first time ever, my husband commented on a smell and said he loved it. The smell is light vanilla with hints of coconut and citrus. It smells almost peachy.
The candle has a triple wick and the container is a ceramic pot. I paid $15 and it is well worth it.
