Vintage pencil box from the 1950s

This thick plastic wood-effect pencil box circa 1950 comes from Jets Desiderium on Etsy, where Gerry is a delight to deal with!. I love it! I had one like this when I was in school, although mine had something painted on the top.

  1. Oh l remember those! I still have mine back from the early 80s. I sometimes see some of my pupils using them are they are still sold nowadays.
    Good memories!

    1. Funny how they give you those very strong memories, isn’t it? Maths tins also do that for me – the metal ones with the compass, set square and protractors in them.
