Missoni Skirt/Poncho

photo 5-8

This is one of my most favorite items of clothing at this time of year. It is a Missoni skirt made of very fine cashmere. It is warm but light and folds up really small. I can wear it in weather where it is too warm for a scarf or jacket but may become chilly. Do I wear it as a skirt? Yes! But more often or not I wear it as a PONCHO! It does not cling and looks good no matter what you choose to pair it with.

The only time a poncho looks weird is when you wear it with a shoulder bag or (something I just cannot get used to) – a backpack! Ponchos tend to fall in and out of fashion, but ones like this one look good no matter where in the fashion cycle you wear it.

And as a skirt with brown boots – nothing in my wardrobe looks better!

  1. I love it. I have worn my share of them over the years and never tire of them. Yes, the shoulder bag and/or backpack do cause major problems. Love the colours!
