HOTD #6 – Juicy Couture Ladies Who Lunch tote

20061521375656

I am not a fan of Juicy Couture signature fluffy towelling type bags. There is nothing wrong with them per se but they have just never appealed. But their Ladies Who Lunch series was just up my alley. I don’t use mine now because they are a bit blingy but if they were not I would use them all the time. I have one in black and one in dark green.

Description

A nice sized tote with a heavy duty zip top closure. Perfect strap length means that you can carry the bag over your arm, over your shoulder or in your hand. The straps are padded and comfy. The tote is wider than it looks and can hold massive amounts. It fits A4. All the zipper fasteners and extra accessories have a large J on them (I like that because both my first names start with J !). This bag is one of the most practically designed ones I own. Inside are pockets for cell phone, lipstick, money, and other items. There is a beautiful little heart-shaped mirror on a leather strap. Each pocket has a witty word describing what the pocket is used for – the key clasp has ‘open’ on it, the phone pocket has ‘hello?’ on it and so on. All the hardware is top quality and the lining is beautiful cream and pink. The dustbag for this bag is lovely too as it has a pink leather J heart-shaped tag on the drawstring closure

Pros

Big, fits A4, heavy duty hardware. A nice plain tote apart from the chain details. Very comfortable to carry.

Cons

The chains on the handles are a bit over the top if you wear blingy costume jewellery.
