You don’t see many Filofax handbags for sale anymore. I am not sure if that is because most retailers have cut down on their Filofax selections or if Filofax in general is making fewer bags. I do like the Charleston bag which is out at the moment, though it is a bit too like the Mulberry Bayswater for my liking.
Thus I was rather intrigued to see that bouteia on eBay has many older model Filofax handbags on auction at the moment. I don’t have a Filofax handbag (which is rather amazing considering I have so many handbags and love Filofax so much).
I particularly like the look of the Cross handbags – here are some. I have a pink A5 Classic binder which is a lovely colour – bright but not neon and super-professional for work. So the handbag would be smart for work but also go nicely with dressed down jeans.
I am not sure what these bags originally retailed for but starting prices of £40 for the Cross bags seems pretty reasonable and postage is reasonable considering that these are heavier than Filofaxes. These are all ‘new old stock’ (NOS), meaning that they are unused. The Cross Filofaxes did not have the peeling problem that sometimes blight the Classic.
