This ladybird was sent to me by Paula from Roses in December. I was so happy when I saw it because the theme of my blog is ladybirds. I am not sure how it came to be ladybirds but I love them.
The name of my blog came about because people often tell me that I should write a story about my tragic but comic life. I veer between feeling like a squashed bug under the shoe of life, to feeling like a cockroach – able to survive a nuclear meltdown.
So I started the blog but I found that I just couldn’t write about my life. But I loved writing about things I enjoy – English, Africa, jewellery, animals, handbags, beauty products, and stationery. And it has gone from there.
Thank you to everyone who reads my blog – I love writing it and it means a lot to know that people out there like reading it.
