Well, it’s never happened to me before. But it happened yesterday and gave me the loveliest warm and fuzzy feeling ever. I was RAK’d!
RAK stands for Random Act of Kindness and the FiloRAKs Facebook Group allows people who love Filofaxes and Filofax-related accessories and prettiness to make someone’s day by sending them little surprises.
I was RAK’d by the lovely Millie S who sent me Post it notes, stickers, tabs (the Martha Stewart ones I have been longing for), to do list paper and a lovely CD/bits ‘n pieces pouch – all of which are in my Filofax making me smile as I write this. When I saw the envelope I wanted to jump up and down with joy!
Often I feel I can’t join in on things because I am in Sweden, but this came all the way from the US so I felt like I was part of the gang! And this made me want to pay it forward and surprise other members of the group too.
Thank you Millie you made my month and your kindness felt like stardust sprinkled over my very stressful week – making it suddenly pretty and bright. You are such a kind person and you deserve only good things to happen to you. x
