These plates were a strange coincidence.
My boss in South Africa was Guy Berger. His sister Clementina Van Der Walt is one of South Africa’s top ceramic artists. When Guy and his wife used to invite me over for meals, I always used to be sooooo envious of their beautiful Clementina Van Der Walt tableware. They had a full dinner service and other items around their home. I would drool at all the amazing designs and cry to myself in poor.
The other day I took some lamps into our association’s recycling room, and found these three beauties. Each one has a different design and they are a perfect design. I had been feeling very homesick so these came home with me.
