C’mon spring, c’mon

This spring has been miserable so far. I have had major allergy problems and a pinched nerve in my neck, the weather has been cold and rainy week after week after week. Most normal flea markets and outdoor events near us have been cancelled due to bad weather.

This weekend it was windy and rather chilly but you can see in the countryside that summer is almost here. There are baby lambs, the horses are outside, and mother ducks are leading their little broods on their first paddles. Nature has its cycles no matter the weather or state of the world.

We went on the bike to Muskö for coffee. No one was boating but the blue sky was fantastic.

I also smiled when I saw these flared jeans in H&M last week.

I had a pair of Henry Duarte jeans in the exact same style in 1990. They were beautifully made. I donated them to charity so I hope someone is still wearing them.

I switched over to silver jewellery this weekend. It’s not quite dress and skirt weather yet and at this point I am not sure if the weather will improve so I will be summery in my jewellery instead.

Catrick being cute

And Harley being Harley

  1. Catrick and Harley are adorable. My “kitten” is one now. He weighs 12 pounds. His kitten fuzz turned into REALLY long hair. He zooms around the house looking like a giant ball of fluff! He’s also a tuxedo.

  2. I cannot cope with Catrick’s cuteness!!! The weather over here has been the opposite: super sunny everyday for days on end and especially very dry but now we are finally getting some much needed rain and the vegetation is blooming!

  3. Since I moved at the end of April (a month ago now) I have been busy unpacking and putting things away, however, the sun has been waking me up most days at 6 am (I usually go to sleep at 2 am so have been napping when possible). I love the overcast days when I sleep in until 8. However, I don’t think that the weather is going to be an issue much longer because I will be getting some blackout curtains when I next get my pension.
