I saw this little mini-library while out and about.
My apartment complex has a little library where you can leave and take books. My books are mostly in English though, so maybe this small street library will reach a wider audience.
I take magazines I have read to my hair stylist, the local school, and my doctor’s surgery.
We have many of these in Paris and around. They have been very popular for the last decade, especially the ones near stations.
I never take books from them but feed the ones near my apartment monthly.
I think it’s a clever way to encourage people to read and it helps those who can’t afford buying books.
That’s a great idea, since reading helps the imagination, broaden horizons and can even take you away from the mundane into a world of fantasy and adventure
