This post is for Mark who wanted so badly to be with us today but couldn’t.
I bought myself a little flag in the gift shop to commemorate the day, and Tina gave me a lovely fridge magnet and bought me a delicious lunch!
Thank you so much to my Swedish family for making my life in Sweden, and my day today, so special.
Love you all xx
I really love reading happy and inspiration post like this.. 🙂 It maybe late but want to say congratulations 🙂 I have been reading so much post about Swedish citizenship how it would be and you gave me idea how it looks like 🙂 amazing! How I wish in couple of years, I could apply a swedish citizenship too but for now I will just enjoy my PUT which I just recently got 🙂
Thank you! It is a wonderful ceremony, which you will have too one day. As soon as you have PUT you can apply for citizenship and then soon you will be a citizen too!
Wow!!! Congratulations on your citizenship!!! 🙂
Marvelous post, Janet! Congratulations. Lovely to see your family with you on this special day!
Thank you for kind words and nice pictures. Thank you for sharing!
Congratulations, Janet. Very happy for you. A lovely pic of you and your extended family.
Congratulations Janet! So happy for you.
Congratulations Janet, a very proud moment for you.
We considering to take French Citizenship possibly next year after we have been there 5 years.
Would recommend! It took me 15 years in Sweden and an almost-deportation in 2006 before I finally got mine, so today was sooooooo fantastic for me!
Thanks for charing this very special day with us! I’ve been moved to tears for other reasons all day so I might as well continue shedding a few for this very special occasion. Hope to see you soon – it’s been too long now.
It sounds like a really magic and special day. Congratulations! x
