This post is for Mark who wanted so badly to be with us today but couldn’t.

I bought myself a little flag in the gift shop to commemorate the day, and Tina gave me a lovely fridge magnet and bought me a delicious lunch!

I really love reading happy and inspiration post like this.. 🙂 It maybe late but want to say congratulations 🙂 I have been reading so much post about Swedish citizenship how it would be and you gave me idea how it looks like 🙂 amazing! How I wish in couple of years, I could apply a swedish citizenship too but for now I will just enjoy my PUT which I just recently got 🙂
Thank you! It is a wonderful ceremony, which you will have too one day. As soon as you have PUT you can apply for citizenship and then soon you will be a citizen too!
Thanks for charing this very special day with us! I’ve been moved to tears for other reasons all day so I might as well continue shedding a few for this very special occasion. Hope to see you soon – it’s been too long now.

Congratulations Janet! So happy for you.
Congratulations Janet, a very proud moment for you.
We considering to take French Citizenship possibly next year after we have been there 5 years.
Would recommend! It took me 15 years in Sweden and an almost-deportation in 2006 before I finally got mine, so today was sooooooo fantastic for me!
