Camel Cross in Personal Size

This is a very special binder. One of those that goes straight to your heart and stays there. I have always loved the Cross (later renamed the Classic) – it’s puffy smoothness and gorgeous sheen, that perfect stitching…and many years ago I lost the last Camel Cross in our local shop when they were discontinued.

In September I was made redundant from my job. I have been permanently employed at the same company for 14 years. I have never lost my job for whatever reason before so it is going to be quite a change for me come March.

Susanna, a Filofax friend, knew the above and so she bought me this Camel Cross to let me know she was thinking of me at this difficult time.

I was so moved by her kind gesture. I am not the kind of person who has received much kindness through their life so things like this really mean the world to me. I will never part with this binder and seeing it fills me with hope for the future.

It is being used to hold everything to do with my new life – working as a freelancer, starting my own business, going back to new media after 17 years away.
