In Sweden, we are now in what are called the ox weeks (oxveckorna), the dark, cold, gloomy days stretching from Ephiphany to the first public holiday of the spring. We don’t even have Christmas lights to cheer us up. I believe our first public holiday this year is Easter, which starts 2nd April, so there will be 89 ox days.
