My husband always puts things in the same place. When he comes home he places his wallet and keys in a tray next to the bed. I, on the other hand, do not. I have tried but it just doesn’t work. My wallet is not a problem as it stays in my bag, but I often misplace my keys and phone, because I put them down anywhere when I come through the door. My keys often end up between cushions, and my phone covered by the bed-linen.
I have been thinking about Apple Air Tags for a while, but did not want to buy them if they did not help. So I bought generic tracker tags and am now testing how effective they are for my keys. I can hear the beep if the keys are close by, and there is GPS if I have left them in the saddle bag in the garage for example.
You can pop them out so I will put one in my travel wallet when we travel in December.
