Vulkit travel wallet

The travel wallet I mentioned the other day has arrived, and I really like it. I chose dark blue because I wanted something that would be easier to spot in my bag than black. I also wanted something that was more compact than a regular travel wallet, which I find a bit too long and bulky for the kind of trips I tend to take. I wanted something that would be easy to hold in my hand, not too heavy, and not too big. It would go into my handbag, not be my handbag.

It is actually smaller height-wise than my phone (cover for scale because I needed my phone to take the photograph!). I am so happy with how compact it is.

The item was described as full grain leather, but is bonded leather at best. I knew this though, from the reviews, and the design was more of a priority to me than design. It fits everything I need

— 3 passports

— South African identity book (embassies cannot issue smart cards)

— EU health insurance card

— Driver’s Licence

— Visa Card

— Two passport cards

— My South African SIM card

— Apple thingamajiggy (what do you actually call it?)

It came with a matching hand strap which I have not used. Interestingly, for something on the cheap side, it came in a nice little bag. A previous Vulkit purchase was in a lovely box. There is also a nice outside slip pocket which will be ideal for keeping boarding card and passport handy inside the airport.
