I have read Marie Jungstedt in Swedish, but this the first time in English. I like Scandinavian crime authors, but some of them (Jo Nesbø’s Harry Hole) are VERY dark. The Fire is the follow-up to Katherine Neville’s The Eight, so I am looking forward to it. I bought it secondhand from Amazon, but the others were all thrift shop finds. I have not read Dough Johnstone before, but it looks good.
I also discovered about six books by James Oswald in the local secondhand shop, but I have never read him before. Do any of my readers know him? If he’s good I may go back and get all of them because I love binge-reading a good author.
