Can you remember the heartwarming story of Shoep and John? If not, I have written about it here, here and here. Shoep finally crossed the rainbow bridge just after his 20th birthday and John took a while to process his grief and be ready to welcome a new fur baby into his heart.
But a few days ago, Bear was surrendered to the Northwoods Humane Society and entered John’s life.

Bear is a 1 year old, 70 lb. Akita/Shep/Lab mix. I, am a very happy man, and proud to introduce him to you. Please join us as Bear and I learn, grow and help in the days, months and years to come!
