These, now discontinued (why oh why?) binders from Filofax are, in my opinion, the only high priced binders which are worth the money. Why?
- The exotic leathes used are top quality
- The leather is farmed not hunted
- The leathers wear like iron
- The rings are replaceable
- There are ring protectors
- The interior is the best designed of all the Filofaxes I have ever had
I have three:
- older red lizard (from 1990 so it is 25 years old) which has no pockets on the edges but which is otherwise exactly like the newer ones
- newer green lizard
- newer buttercup ostrich
- sharkskin Winchester from 1980
