I bought this at a fair in South Africa – a long lariat made of emeralds, rubies and sapphires. They are genuine but low grade so it was not very expensive. Though it was valued at much higher than I paid for insurance purposes so I guess it was a good buy.
It is really versatile and can be worn as a choker, necklace (long or short), bracelet or belt. I have even wrapped it around my hair as a hairband and ponytail holder
