Another Filofax/fashion designer collaboration was with Gharani Strok in 2007. You don’t see many of these around today. I am not sure but this could have been Filofax’s first foray into the fashion world. It was definitely marketed as such.
Gharani Strok has brought its glamorous signature style to Filofax. With almost a decade of successful collections under their belt, Gharani Strok is no longer fashion’s best kept secret, but one of the UK’s most successful high-fashion brands.
Beautifully crafted from deluxe leather, the limited edition organiser features a strikingly distinct floral print in a contrasting grey and coral colour palette with luxury suede-touch lining. The print design is taken from a piece of 1950s vintage fabric from Hawaii, which will appear in the Gharani Strok S/S 07 collection.
Inside is a fashionista’s dream interior; exquisite detailing includes introduction pages with personal sketches and fabric swatches from Gharani Strok’s SS/07 collection; a list of Nargess Gharani’s and Vanya Strok’s favourite fashion hangouts in London, Paris, Milan and New York; and of course luxury cream Filofax organiser stationery – diary, address pages and notepaper.
With only 500 pieces available via retail, the limited edition organiser will be available from http://www.filofax.co.uk, selected stationers and department stores nationwide from October 18th while stocks last.
