Yesterday one of my classes involved describing from memory and one of the words that came up was ‘hockeyfrillan’, which in English is known as a ‘mullet’. It has been worn by Bono, George Michael, David Bowie, Billy Ray Cyrus, Michael Bolton André Agassi and the beloved tv character MacGyver.
A mullet is a hairstyle which is short on top and the sides but longer in the back. If you do a search for Mullet you can find several large sites dedicated to them. One of these sites kindly allowed me to use these two photographs.
