I used to have so many of these film canisters in different uses.
- I used to keep buttons in them. Each colour had a different canister, labelled outside with my trusty Dymo.
- Used to hold safety pins
- Pillbox
- Jewellery holder. Rings in one, earrings in another, chains in yet another (lots of knots though!)
- Used to hold screws and nails
- Waterproof matchbox
- Mini sewing kit
- Used to hold nose pieces, tiny screws and mini screwdriver for my glasses
- Coin holder
- Fishing supplies (during the brief period in my teens when I was fishing mad)
