From Tuesday last week, the tentative spring temperatures swung harshly back to wind, snow and ice. I spent quite a bit of time last week in Stockholm’s Old Town, where icy cobblestones and steep hills make walking rather challenging. Ice is much harder to navigate than snow.
One of the streets is from the 1300s, and a church nearby is from the 1200s. That must be hard to comprehend if you are from a relatively new country.
