Update: Herschel Andy Warhol Backpack

I have actually used this backpack every day since I last wrote about it. I am not sure why this one has ‘taken’ while none of my others did. Perhaps because it is light and structured, easy to put on and remove, and is well designed. There are pockets, but not so many you cannot remember where you put something. It is also the perfect size, and the zippers are heavy-duty plastic, so they open and close quick as a flash.

I discovered during the worst snowstorm since 2016 that it is also water-resistant! Plus I had both hands free in case I fell over…

I would be interested in buying another one in this series, because I enjoy Andy Warhol designs. The only problem is that I paid $15 for this one on a sample sale, and they are usually between $80 and $100.

  1. I like the backpacks from Travelon. They are also a bit pricey, probably because of the anti-theft features.

  2. The retail price seems rather steep, especially since Andy Warhol is popular so they could, presumably, lower the price to the bottom end and still make a tidy profit from sales. I am disappointed in the stripes but love the pocket design with the banana from the album cover for The Velvet Underground and Nico.

    1. There are some more graphic designs in this series. I was also surprised at the price because Warhol licences are not rare. If anything, they are a bit too common these days.
