I saw these outfits labelled as ‘Clothes for women over 40’. Surely clothes for over 40s should be just like clothes for everyone else, i.e. you wear whatever you feel like?
So apparently, women over 40 want to dress in clothing that leaves them without a defined waist, hides their curves, and makes them look like giant bumblebees, but still wear insanely high heeled shoes with pointy toes.
Lovely

I know, right? Why can’t we all wear what we want? There are never any guides for how men should dress after 40!
I increasingly feel this way about gendered clothing-toys-books-skincare, etc. etc. Gift guides too! Let the consumer decide for themselves.
